DUNE BASHING

Once again we headed out into the desert for some fun in the sand. It's one of those things which make life in the desert a bit easier. Just leave the busy city and it's mad traffic behind and enjoy some peace in the desert. This time we tried some routes through new territory. Every once in a while a car gets stuck, but then again what do you expect if you buy and Land Rover Discovery ;-) I drive a Jeep, should be easy to spot on the pictures...

JOHNNY CLEGG

First of all you have to know that it is very rare that there is a concert here in the desert even worth mentioning. So you can imagine that i was very pleased to hear that Johnny Clegg will make an appearance at the southafrican weekender (a festival for the SA expats and all other friends of music and beer). Almost like a little open air, just not quite like St.Gallen yet, but it's a start...

DOWN UNDER...

New Years Eve at the Sydney Opera House, 2007 couldn't have started much more impressive! I had an amazing time during my 40 day trip which took me to Australia and New Zealand with stops in Hong Kong and Singapore on the way home. I saw Roger Federer play in Melbourne, tasted a lot of australian beer (actually not too bad), visited good old friends, did the famous Shotover jet boat ride... check the full story on www.fabiangraf.photosite.com.
