BEIRUT // JULY 2008

This summer seems to be the summer of traveling the Middle East. Well, after more than 3 years over here it was about time to do so. Beirut was always on the list, unfortunately not always the safest place to go. I was lucky, it's been very quiet over the last few months. let's hope it stays that way! I had a fantastic time with my friends. Wine tasting, a walk in the forest, fashion tv party, sightseing, party all night long... it's all there!

JORDAN // JUNE 2008

I finally made it to Jordan, the one country in the middle east I just had to see. And what a great place it is. In 4 days we made it from Amman to the dead see for some floating in really salty water and healthy mud, along the King's Highway to Petra where we followed the steps of Indiana Jones. Further down at the red sea we even managed a quick visit to Israel, spent a night in a beach resort in Eilat. All in all a fantastic trip, can only recommend it!

JABAL SHAMS // OMAN

it took me 3 years to finally do this trip, always only heard about the 'crand canyon of oman'. with 3008 meter, jabal shams is the talles peak in oman. and camping at 2000 meters is a very refreshing experience, temperature are easily 15 degrees less than in the valley. time seems to have stopped in the villages in the area, it gives you a true taste of the middle east.
